Connected to Community. Engaged In Life.
A Place to Live...
At CLS, residential living is more than housing—it’s a supportive environment where individuals are encouraged to grow, participate, and thrive. We operate eight homes in both Burlington and Kenosha, including Community-Based Residential Facilities (CBRFs) and Adult Family Homes (AFHs), allowing us to support individuals with a wide range of needs and levels of independence.
Each home is fully integrated into the surrounding community, giving residents opportunities to build relationships, participate in local activities, and engage in everyday experiences both inside and outside the home. Our approach focuses on balancing independence with support, ensuring every individual feels respected, comfortable, and empowered in their daily life.

Within the home, individuals take part in shared living experiences that help build essential life skills. Staff are present in each home whenever residents are there, providing support with personal care, medication administration, transportation, and community involvement. A Residential Coordinator is also on call 24/7 to ensure ongoing support for both residents and staff.
Above all, CLS focuses on creating homes that feel supportive, social, and empowering. Residents are encouraged to build relationships, participate in household life, and engage in community outings and activities when not at work or day programs. Working closely with individuals, families, guardians, and care teams, we create personalized support plans that promote independence, dignity, and meaningful quality of life.
